Charles Stuart Platkin host WEtv's "I Want to Save Your Life"
“I WANT TO SAVE YOUR LIFE” Premieres on WE tv Saturday, April 25th 10 pm (ET/PT)
& 9 pm (CT/MT). Bestselling author and diet guru Charles Stuart Platkin (Breaking the Pattern, The Diet Detective’s Count Down, The Diet Detective’s Calorie) is a nationally leading nutrition and public health advocate whose syndicated column appears in more than 100 daily newspapers. Having overcome obesity himself, Charles’ mission is to bring Americans back to a healthy lifestyle. He founded DietDetective.com to provide the information and motivation needed to those wanting to live a healthy life. Now the man known as the Diet Detective is going undercover on television on the new WE tv series I Want to Save Your Life, to help those who need an extra hand, both physically and emotionally, in order to get on the right track. With help from the participant’s friends, family and/or co-workers, Platkin follows the unsuspecting subject on her or his daily routines -- from preparing breakfast for their children, to the fast food drive-through during their lunch break, to a quick stop at the local coffee shop -- identifying negative patterns and pitfalls every step of the way and then providing them with the awareness and tools needed to help make the difference in the lives of those who want to help themselves. Platkin says the key is uncovering what’s going on inside their lives to help them change the outside.
