Barbara Balik - Director of Special Giving Cystic Fibrosis
The 20th Annual Culinary Evening with the California Winemasters Saturday, May 16th, 2009 6PM at Warner Bros., "Midwest Street". Cystic fibrosis remains North America’s number one inherited disease killer of children and young adults. Left untreated, the disease leads rapidly to malnutrition, chronic lung infection and death in the first decade of life. With 999 mutations of the cystic fibrosis gene, this is the only disease that can affect every major organ in the body. It is therefore extremely likely that many of the therapies currently being developed for CF will also have application for a number of other diseases affecting the health of millions of people worldwide.

Bill Kurtis - A&E; Cold Case; American Justice; ATT; Tall Grass
The primary obstacle standing in the way of the grass-fed beef revolution is how to consistently deliver quality beef that tastes delicious. Here at Tallgrass, our cattle are derived from special genetic stock whose origins are verified and fully traceable . We’ve given a whole new meaning to the word ‘thorough’. We use ultrasound technology to safely and humanely see inside the living animal, and to detect the right amount of marbling and muscle to produce the most tender, best-tasting beef there is.
