THE COMPLETE BEER COURSE: BOOT CAMP FOR BEER GEEKS: FROM NOVICE TO EXPERT IN TWELVE TASTING CLASSES

It's a great time to be a beer drinker, but also the most confusing, thanks to the dizzying array of available draft beers. Expert Joshua M. Bernstein comes to the rescue with The Complete Beer Course, demystifying brews and breaking down the elements that make beer's flavor spin into distinctively different and delicious directions. Structured around a series of easy-to-follow classes, his course hops from lagers and pilsners to hazy wheat beers, Belgian-style abbey and Trappist ales, aromatic pale ales and bitter IPAs, roasty stouts, barrel-aged brews, belly-warming barley wines, and mouth-puckering sour ales. There is even a class on international beer styles and another on pairing beer with food and starting your own beer cellar. Through suggested, targeted tastings, you'll learn when to drink down-and when to dump those beers down a drain.

Learn about a New National Program & the Critical Role of Technology for Successful Entrepreneurs & Small Business Owners

In the United States, we increasingly rely on technology in our daily activities, whether it’s listening to music, watching a movie, connecting with friends on Facebook or using a mobile app to pay for dinner. For small and medium businesses in particular, technology plays a critical role in helping find customers, accessing new markets, and generating growth. Now, a new report from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Facebook explores how small businesses are using Facebook and other digital platforms to grow, sell and hire. You’ll be speaking with Aneesh Raman, who is the Manager of Facebook Global Economic Impact Programs about the results come from two surveys. One is a national poll of 1,000 small business owners and 50 state-level polls of 100 small businesses in each state as well as national consumer poll of more than 5,000 adults on the perceived benefits of digital platforms on business and employment outcomes.
