06/04 HOWARD PRICE, CREEK STEWART, FAT GUYS IN THE WOODS, ERIKA KATZ

HOWARD PRICE TALKS WINE AND TRAVEL

In 1985 Peter Drucker stated, "There are people who do not belong in large organizations."

In 1995, Howard F. Price started a small organization, and called it Multi-Net Marketing. He has kept Multi-Net Marketing small on purpose…to remain lean and effective in the rapidly changing advertising world of today.

With a history in broadcasting that dates back to his college years at the University of Oklahoma, Howard made a name for himself on-air in radio and television. From local to national events, Howard knows the business.

Howard doesn't belong in a large organization. He's quite adept at running Multi-Net Marketing, a smaller company that can move quickly to save your clients money. Getting your advertisers prime positions in electronic media, no matter what the economic times are doing, is what Multi-Net Marketing excels at.

SURVIVAL EXPERT, AUTHOR AND TV PERSONALITY CREEK STEWART TALKS ABOUT THE SECOND SEASON OF THE POPULAR REALITY SERIES "FAT GUYS IN THE WOODS."

Survival expert-author-TV personality Creek Stewart talks about the second season of the popular reality series "Fat Guys in the Woods."
The Weather Channel’s popular survival series, “Fat Guys in the Woods,” returns for its second season with new locations, even wilder weather conditions, and tougher challenges.

Each week, groups of three average Joes will join host and survival expert, Creek Stewart, in the woods to learn the art and science of outdoor survival while battling the threats of Mother Nature. They will be armed with only the most basic of tools, so if they can’t successfully build a fire, they will have to deal with the cold. If they can’t successfully hunt or forage for food, they will be hungry. If they can’t successfully build a shelter, they will sleep on the ground.

Tune in this season as our average Joes dine on everything from tree jerky and cactus to bone marrow and scorpions. They will attempt to start fires using materials that range from birch bark to tampons. And, for shelter, our average Joes will put their creativity to the test by building structures using Mother Nature’s supplies like ocotillo plants, moss and pine trees. Highlighting different weather extremes and conditions, “Fat Guys in the Woods” season two was filmed in the following locations:
Drummond Island, MI
Mendoza Canyon, AZ
Sonoran Desert, AZ
Wewahitchka, FL
Dead Lakes, FL
Cave Country, KY
Red River Gorge, KY

PARENTING EXPERT AND AUTHOR. ERIKA KATZ - HOW PARENTS CAN HELP TEENS NAVIGATE AND COPE WITH THE PRESSURES & STRESS OF SOCIAL MEDIA

Raising happy, self-confident kids is the goal of every parent, but doing that in the age of social media has complicated an already challenging job. The digital component of a kid’s life has amplified common teen insecurities around appearance and peer pressure, causing some parents to feel desperate to find help.

In an effort to connect better with kids, The Teen Confidence Survey polled teenagers ages 13-17 mothers of teens ages 13-17 and looked at opinions surrounding key teen issues like teasing, peer pressure and the impact that acne, braces and body changes has on teen self confidence. Highlights from the survey include:
40 percent feel their appearance is being judged more closely on social media than in person
94 percent of teens think their appearance influences their popularity
59 percent of teens are embarrassed to not fit in; only 33 percent of moms agree

Parenting expert and author Erika Katz has decoded the survey results to real-life parenting with a free Interactive Guide to “Unbrace Teen Confidence”  guide that shares information about what parents can do to help kids build a foundation of self-confidence. On June 4th, 2015 Erika Katz will be available to talk about the Teen Confidence Survey as well as the teen confidence guide. She will discuss tips on how teens can improve confidence, on the inside and out, as well as answer tough questions so parents can better help their children.
