Cal Sheehy -Vice President/GM - London Bridge Resort.
Cal has a Master's of Business Administration from
University of Phoenix and is a Certified Hotel Administrator from the
American Hotel & Lodging Association. Cal began his career in tourism as a
housekeeper and cleaned rooms at London Bridge Resort. Cal has been active
in the hospitality industry from a young age and worked his way through the
ranks of hotel management, leading his first Resort as General Manager in
Daytona Beach, Florida. Prior to leaving his East coast operations role Cal
was the Eastern Regional Manager managing resorts in Daytona Beach, FL,
Hilton Head Island, SC, and Branson, MO. Cal now leads the All-Suite London
Bridge Resort in Lake Havasu City. Cal assumed his current leadership role
since 2004. Cal and his outstanding team have successfully led London
Bridge Resort to great achievements in sales, guest services, employee
relations, and community involvement. Cal is active in his community and
sees a strong value and correlation in economic development and tourism
promotion to the overall health of his organization and team members. Cal
is the Past Chairman of the Lake Havasu City Area Chamber of Commerce and is
the governmental affairs committee chairman. Cal is the Vice Chair and is
the marketing committee chairperson for the Lake Havasu City Convention and
Visitors Bureau. Cal is a founding member of the Lake Havasu City
Hospitality Association and is the current President. Cal is a founding
member of Havasu Young Professionals Exchange. Cal sits on the board of
directors for the Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association and is an active
Rotarian with the Lake Havasu City Rotary Club. Cal is a work hard play
hard kind of guy. Cal enjoys a variety of hobbies that include water
sports, snow skiing, and hiking. He is an avid traveler and is always ready
for the next adventure.
