According to new research, waiving the fees on adult cat adoptions is good for cats, cat owners and, surprisingly, the bottom line of animal shelters. Now, during June’s Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month television personality, Joy Behar, the ASPCA and the makers of Fresh Step litter are asking shelters nationwide to waive the fee they typically charge to adopt adult cats.
