What's Cookin' Today Hour TWO:

Actress Nia Vardalos Wants To Give America Something to Smile About!

We’ve all heard the statistics and know that gum disease and poor oral health is nothing to smile about. Even though these common “mouth maladies” affect about 75 percent of adults and 20 to 30 percent of those adults battle more severe forms of the disease over time,
there is hope!

Actress Nia Vardalos, known best for her smash hit “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” knows how to make people smile…and she wants to do it again and again. Nia, along with Tom Hanks, co-wrote “Larry Crowne” - a comedy-drama film starring Hanks and Julia Roberts, that premieres on July 1. This movie is sure to keep Nia’s track record for making us smile strong, but now, she’s challenging Americans to smile HEALTHY with the PerioBalance Challenge.

A small group of bloggers will start the PerioBalance Challenge and commit to using PerioBalance for a full 28 days to learn about how to adopt great oral care habits, while sharing their experiences along the way. Nia will provide encouragement to the Challenge participants and keep them motivated.
