Who Will Be the New Face on the Hit Series Glee? Casting Director, Robert Ulrich, Gives Us a Sneak Peek!

Robert J. Ulrich serves as a mentor on Oxygen’s newest competition show “The Glee Project.” Ulrich, the casting director for both “The Glee Project” and “Glee,” is from the wonderful town of Modesto, in northern California (home of Gallo wine and George Lucas). After graduating from the University of Pacific in Stockton, he earned his masters Degree in English from the University of Stanislaus and moved to New York City to pursue a vocation in acting. He eventually returned to California to begin a career in casting. While working at the prominent casting office of Reuben Cannon & Associates, Robert met his future partners Eric Dawson and Carol Kritzer. In 1989 Robert and Eric formed their own company, Ulrich/Dawson & Associates; two years later Carol Kritzer came on board and they became Ulrich/Dawson/Kri
tzer Casting.

Ulrich/Dawson/Kritzer is now celebrating its 21st year of casting. Ulrich/Dawson/Kritzer is currently casting the following television series: “C.S.I.,” “The Mentalist,” “Drop Dead Diva,” “In Plain Sight,” “Supernatural” and the multiple Emmy nominated series “Dexter” and “Glee.” Previous hit shows include: “Dark Angel,” “Saving Grace” and the critically acclaimed “Battlestar Galactica.” For “Glee,” Ulrich/Dawson/Kritzer has been nominated for an Emmy for Best Television Comedy Series and for a Casting Society of America (CSA) award for Best Television Comedy Series. Atlanta native Chip Wade has building in his blood. Coming from a long line of experienced carpenters and woodcraftsmen, Chip began working with his father at an early age – and over the years developed an interest in carpentry, landscaping and renovation. As the contractor and master carpenter on HGTV’s top rated Curb Appeal: The Block, Chip explains and demonstrates the tools and processes best suited for exterior renovation, landscaping and construction. Chip also appears as the carpenter on HGTV's Designed to Sell, transforming interior spaces on a tight budget. After graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Chip moved on to earn his certification in residential construction. He soon developed a passion for construction as he became proficient in both the design and execution of large-scale remodels. Chip represents brands including 3M and Mohawk Flooring as a national spokesperson. Chip is the owner and lead designer of WadeBuilt LLC, a design, staging, inspection, and custom construction.
