SAVE A CHILD’S HEART (SACH) INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN ORGANIZATION, PRESENTS U.S. DEBUT BENEFIT CONCERT
WHAT:
Save A Child’s Heart presents a gala benefit concert and VIP reception, featuring a line up of international stars in a special evening of music and entertainment at the Valley Performing Arts Center. The event will also include a presentation honoring SACH’s Head Nurse Chaya Museri for her 30 years of dedication to saving children.
WHY:
To raise much needed funds and generate awareness. Based in Israel, SACH provides urgently needed, lifesaving pediatric heart surgery for indigent children from developing countries around the world where the care they need is unobtainable. SACH’s volunteer doctors and medical staff have saved 4500 children from 51 countries so far. The organization provides the best care that modern medicine has to offer at no cost to all children, regardless of race, religion, sex, color, or financial status.

GREEN POWER MORNING
“Abundant flavonoids in spinach act as antioxidants to keep cholesterol from oxidizing and protect your body from free radicals, particularly in the colon.”
3 carrots, scrubbed well, tops removed, ends trimmed
2 ribs of celery with leaves
1 handful of spinach
1 cucumber, peeled if not organic
1/2 green apple
Cut produce to fit your juicer’s feed tube. Juice all ingredients and stir. Pour into
a glass and drink as soon as possible. Serves 1.
GREEN MUSCLE MENDER
Are you strength training? Spinach helps your muscles recover.
1 large handful spinach
1 green apple
1 cucumber, peeled if not organic
1-inch-chunk ginger root
2-inch-piece fresh turmeric root (optional)
Juice all ingredients, stir, and enjoy! Serves 1.

1 large broccoli stem
1 rib celery
3 leaves kale
