MICHAEL O'NEILL – RENOWNED ACTOR - CBS SERIES, EXTANT

Renowned actor Michael O’Neill portrays “Alan Sparks” in the new CBS series, EXTANT, which premiered on July 9th.  O’Neill can also be seen as “Senator Roland Foulkes” in the Sundance TV series, RECTIFY, which debuted its second season on June 19th.  Other recent appearances include “Nick Ford” in the A&E series, BATES MOTEL “Richard Barkley” in the acclaimed film, DALLAS BUYERS CLUB, “Detective Simms” in the Lifetime film, THE GRIM SLEEPER, “Mayor Ted Bennett” on the CBS series, VEGAS and New York Hawks’ interim General Manager “Hank Griffin” on the USA Network series, NECESSARY ROUGHNESS.

O’Neill’s impressive credits include the films J. EDGAR, TRANSFORMERS, TRAFFIC, SEA OF LOVE, SECONDHAND LIONS and SEABISCUIT and such memorable television performances in NCIS, GREY’S ANATOMY, NUMB3RS, SONS OF ANARCHY, LEVERAGE, THE UNIT and fan favorite “Special Agent Rob Butterfield” on WEST WING. A native of Alabama, O’Neill is a graduate of Auburn University and began his acting career under the mentorship of Will Geer at the Theatricum Botanicum in Los Angeles.
