In 2013, the Lay’s brand will celebrate 75 years as America’s most-loved potato chip. What better way to kick off this anniversary year than by letting fans decide the brand’s next great Lay’s flavor? The best part: the fan who submits the winning flavor idea will receive $1 million in grand prize money or one percent of his/her flavor’s net sales, whichever is higher. The Lay’s “Do Us A Flavor” contest kicks-off on July 20. Fans will have the opportunity to submit flavors through early October and three finalist flavors will be fully developed by Frito-Lay’s culinary experts and introduced in the marketplace in mid-February 2013.
