Actress Molly Quinn & Director Diane Namm Tell Us About Their Movie, The Sacrifice!

You probably know teen actor Molly Quinn who plays Alexis Castle from the ABC hit TV show “Castle”, but do you know about her new project in which she stars as a homeless teen on the run?

Four years ago, Molly worked with director Diane Namm on the international, award-winning short film “The Sacrifice”, about a fugitive teen girl who is pursued by the polygamist cult she escapes, persecuted by the government who needs a witness and wanted by the pimps who conned her into seeking refuge with them. Also picking up a glass onion trophy was chef Kevin Boyle of Umalu at the Hyatt Regency Maui in Kaanapali, who won the Maui Onion Challenge for best Maui onion appetizer of the eight eateries involved in the contest, whose winner was determined by votes from restaurant patrons. His winning dish was Carmelized Maui Onion Flatbread with Surfing Goat Dairy Chevre and Port Belly Lardon.
