Erica Cohen /Lori Barbera "BABY'S BADASS BURGERS"
Baby's Badass Burgers sprang from the imaginations and experiences of ex-New Yorker restaurateur Erica Cohen and celebrated event planner Lori Barbera . Cohen launched her career in the restaurant world as one of the founding partners in the first of The ONE Group's many restaurants, for whom Barbera serves as Los Angeles Events Director as well as an investor. Cohen, a passionate foodie and burgermeister at heart who had "been searching for the perfect, quintessential cheeseburger since [she] was a little girl," decided that in order to satiate her quest she would have to create her own flawless burger: the Simple Original Beauty on the BBB menu.

Woodstock Country Inn - Woodstock NY OWNER Carol Wandry
Two miles from the center of the renowned artist colony of Woodstock, New York, a long driveway off a peaceful country road leads you to the grace and charm of the Woodstock Country Inn. Set amidst acres of rolling meadows, woods and the Catskill Mountains, this island of tranquility offers swimming, hiking, cross-country trails, nearby skiing at Hunter, Windham, and Belleayre Mountains, and quality country comfort. Historic Artist's Home - Built as the home of Woodstock artist Jo Cantine, the house and magnificent setting reflect the artist's creativity and appreciation of nature. Great windows and doors were abundantly placed to capture the shimmering light and natural beauty of the Catskill Mountains. Cantine lived to be 94 and enjoyed a successful career, with shows at prestigious New York City galleries and museums, and a painting in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Several of her luminous paintings, and her hand-painted furniture are displayed in the common room and bedrooms of the bed and breakfast. The Woodstock Country Inn was established in 1987. Renovations were made with a desire to allow for maximum privacy and comfort for guests, while maintaining the charm and ambiance of a 19th Century farmhouse. The heated in-ground pool is set in a wildflower meadow overlooking mountain views and is open from May to October. The pool uses a salt water filtration system, eliminating the need for chlorine or any other harsh chemicals. Adirondack chairs and hammocks are strategically placed for optimum relaxation and meditation.
The Inn is ideally located only 2 miles from the shops, galleries and music of Woodstock, a short hike to Cooper Lake, and less than a mile to the Bear Cafe and Bearsville Theater. Hiking and cross-country ski trails, antique shops, and fabulous restaurants are all only minutes away. Nearby activities also include road and trail biking, apple picking, tubing, canoeing, horseback riding, boat rides on the Hudson River, tennis and golf. Four ski centers (including Hunter Mountain) are close . 845 679 9380

Woodstock Music & Art Fair (informally, Woodstock or The Woodstock Festival) was a music festival, billed as "An Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music", held at Max Yasgur's 600 acre (2.4 km²; 240 ha, 0.94 mi²) dairy farm in the rural town of Bethel, New York from August 15 to August 18, 1969. Bethel, in Sullivan County, is 43 miles (69 km) southwest of the town of Woodstock, New York, in adjoining Ulster County. During the sometimes rainy weekend, thirty-two acts performed outdoors in front of 300,000 concert-goers. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most pivotal moments in popular music history and was listed on Rolling Stone's 50 Moments That Changed the History of Rock and Roll. The event was captured in the successful 1970 documentary movie Woodstock, an accompanying soundtrack album, and Joni Mitchell's song "Woodstock" which commemorated the event and became a major hit for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.

Dottie Jordan Pres & CEO Virginia Peninsula C of C Newport News, VA
Newport News is an independent city in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. It is at the south-western end of the Virginia Peninsula, on the north shore of the James River extending southeast from Skiffe's Creek along many miles of waterfront to the river's mouth at Newport News Point on the harbor of Hampton Roads. The area known as Newport News was part of Warwick County, one of the eight original shires of Virginia formed by the House of Burgesses in the British Colony of Virginia by order of King Charles I in 1634. The county was largely composed of farms and undeveloped land until almost 250 years later. In 1881, 15 years of explosive development began under the leadership of Collis P. Huntington, whose new Peninsula Extension of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway from Richmond opened up transportation along the Peninsula and provided a new pathway for the railroad to bring West Virginia bituminous coal to port for coastal shipping and worldwide export. With the new railroad came a terminal and coal piers where the colliers were loaded. Within a few years, Huntington and his associates also built a large shipyard.
