Come September, Grown on Maui products will be hard to miss. Farmers, ranchers, local food producers and friends of agriculture are teaming up to celebrate local food. Maui Agriculture will be at our tables each day, in our homes, at community gatherings, in schools, and with promotions and special offerings island-wide. “We do this campaign because we believe that agriculture matters on Maui,” says MCFB executive director Warren Watanabe.

Participation is easy! Shop in stores featuring the Grown on Maui logo for flowers, produce, or value-added products. Spot a chef or flower demonstration at stores. Select Grown on Maui menu items when dining out. Slow Food Maui hosts a potluck on September 17 and its education series continues on September 28 with raising poultry chickens as its theme. The campaign ends October 2, at the Maui Fair.
