David Arquette - Actor & Hunger activist
actor and hunger activist, who serves as the first-ever chairman of Feeding America’s Entertainment Council, has teamed up with Snickers to help ‘Bar Hunger’ and feed the 36 million Americans who don’t know where their next meal will come from. To kick things off and spur donations, Arquette will be taking up residence atop Madison Square Garden for two days (next Tuesday and Wednesday) to help Bar Hunger in America. Many food banks nationwide are especially in need of contributions during the summer months, as donations and supplies dwindle and the demand for food increases with the absence of school lunch programs. Arquette can talk about his new clothing line with Ben Harper, called Propr, that will be unveiled at New York Fashion Week in September, and the buzz surrounding the next “Scream 4” movie. David James Arquette (born September 8, 1971) is an American actor, film director, producer, screenwriter, and former professional wrestler. He became known during the late 1990s, after having starred in several Hollywood films, including the films of the Scream trilogy. In addition to his acting career Arquette took a brief foray into professional wrestling in early 2000, competing for World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and becoming a one-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion; a booking decision often cited as being pivotal to the degradation of the title and the downfall of WCW.
