7/6 Hell's Kitchen's Brendan Heavey, Love in the Wild, Larry Lipson, Larry Van Aalst

What's Cookin' Today Hour ONE:

We're Talking With Hell's Kitchen Contestant Brendan Heavey!

Get ready for the heat of HELL’S KITCHEN as superstar chef Gordon Ramsay ushers in the series’ red-hot ninth season with 18 new competitors Monday, July 18 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. These aspiring restaurateurs will brave Ramsay and his wrath as he once again puts the competitors through rigorous challenges to see who has the skill and passion to win a life-changing prize: a head chef position at BLT Steak in New York City.

Ramsay’s culinary challenges will range from the cute and cuddly as the chefs cook a “mommy and me” meal for a room full of moms and toddlers – to the sublime as the chefs are challenged to cook using different types of beer as the basis for their recipes. The winning teams will get to enjoy a private jet to Palm Springs, Indy-car racing, a $20,000-per-night suite in Las Vegas or a four-story yacht excursion, while the losing teams will be required to decorate for a high school reunion, take delivery of and butcher an entire side of beef, create ice sculptures and put together an entire children’s playground for family night.

In the season premiere, Ramsay launches the competition with the signature-dish challenge and is both impressed and disappointed right from the start. Before the dinner service can even begin, one contestant is rushed to the hospital and things go downhill quickly from there until one chef is eliminated from HELL’S KITCHEN.

As the teams are whittled down, the chefs get one step closer to earning the coveted black chef jacket. Eventually two finalists will compete head-to-head to try and impress Ramsay with their skills and only one lucky chef will walk away with the ultimate prize and fulfill their dreams as a head chef at one of the finest restaurants in America.

Meet STEELE D., Contestant of NBC's New Dating/Adventure Show - Love in the Wild

Age: 24, Hometown: Scottsdale, AZ, Occupation: Pro Golfer - A pro athlete, killer looks and charm for days – he’s the one the viewers will love – or love to hate. The ladies will all want him but need to decide if he’s the typical player or really in this for love.

LOVE IN THE WILD Airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC. “Love in the Wild” is an exciting, new adventure-dating series that will put relationships to the ultimate test. Hosted by Darren McMullen (Australian “Minute to Win It”), 10 single men and 10 single women, all looking for love, will experience a romantic adventure unlike anything they could have ever imagined. These singles have tried it all – speed-dating, blind-dating, Internet dating -- and now, they’re headed deep into the remote jungles of Costa Rica to see if they can find that special someone they've been looking for.

In each episode, the couples will pair up in exhilarating quests that will push their bodies and their emotions to the limit. Some of these include paddling down crocodile-ridden waters, navigating through bat-infested caves and hanging 200 feet above the rain forest floor as they descend down one of the most majestic waterfalls in Costa Rica. These exploits will put their relationships to the test as they fall for each other in ways they never imagined. Sparks will fly and hearts will break.

After each adventure, the winning couple will share a night together at the “Oasis,” a lavish, five-star bungalow overflowing with everything they could possibly desire for an intimate night of romance. The remaining couples will stay with their partners in the less luxurious “Cabins,” where they will gather for a night of socializing.

During an elimination unlike anything seen before, all of the couples will come together to reveal whether a connection has been formed with their current partner -- or if they would like to switch and get to know someone else. At the end of every episode, two heartbroken singles will be sent home.

The series will culminate with just one couple left standing, who will have completed the adventure of a lifetime and found the one thing they’ve been searching for -- "Love in the Wild."
