Eating meat doesn’t have to be politically incorrect. In fact, it can actually improve your health, protect our environment and strengthen our farm communities. And, according to award-winning author Deborah Krasner, it tastes good, too. The meat Krasner is referring to is the grass-fed, sustainably farmed and humanely raised products increasingly available from local producers. Good Meat is most definitely not another cookbook; it is part how-to guide, part environmental manifesto, part textbook, and mostly a celebratory exploration of the benefits and virtues of responsible meat-eating.

All of our gargantuan sandwiches are overstuffed with at least one pound of meat.
