Norm Sawicki  - Owner -  Trancas Steakhouse - Napa, CA
After a very long day we were so hungry. All we wanted was a big huge steak. Checked out yelp and voila this place came up, we were two miles away, had good reviews, so we drove over. Good size steakhouse, nothing fancy, very casual, nice big bar when you enter.  Got seated, menu's given, drinks ordered, well just water for now. Hubby ordered Pork Chops with a side of rice and steamed veggies. I chose the Prime Rib with mashed potatoes and veggies. Service was good, never leaving are drinks empty and checking on us.   Food arrives and wow what a very pleasant surprise, especially when you are hungry. My Prime Rib was warm and red, Au jus on the side, cooked perfect with such great flavor and at such an excellent price. Potatoes and veggies were good. Hubby loved his Pork Chop as well. This was a great find, thanks to yelp. Another local hangout with very reasonable prices and probably the best Prime Rib I have ever had. The sign outside said they are famous for the Prime Rib and let me tell you that is no lie. It was awesome!
