JULIA COLLIN DAVISON & BRIDGET LANCASTER - NEW HOSTS OF AMERICA’S TEST KITCHEN

AMERICA’S TEST KITCHEN, the beloved TV show from the America’s Test Kitchen brand umbrella is entering a new phase. After 15 years, the company has announced that its new hosts will be Julia Collin Davison and Bridget Lancaster.

Lancaster and Davison are original cast members of America’s Test Kitchen and have each appeared in hundreds of recipe segments since the show launched in 2001.The new host(s) will report to Mary Mullaney, recently hired Executive Producer for TV and video, alongside David Nussbaum, the first CEO, and Jack Bishop, Chief Creative Officer.

AMERICA’S TEST KITCHEN ANNOUNCES JULIA COLLIN DAVISON AND BRIDGET LANCASTER AS THE NEW TELEVISION CO-HOSTS FOR AMERICA’S TEST KITCHEN FOR 2017

The new co-hosts begin filming in May 2016 for episodes airing in January 2017
America’s Test Kitchen, the home cook’s essential resource for recipes that work, today announced that Julia Collin Davison and Bridget Lancaster will be the new co-hosts for the company’s long-running television show America’s Test Kitchen. Lancaster and Davison are original cast members of America’s Test Kitchen and have each appeared in hundreds of recipe segments since the show launched in 2001. The new co-hosts will start filming the 17th season of America’s Test Kitchen, the top-rated cooking show on public television, this May. New episodes with the duo hosting the show will start airing on public television stations across the country in January 2017.

Davison, the executive food editor for the company’s successful cookbook division, has worked at America’s Test Kitchen since 1999. She was originally hired as a test cook to develop recipes and write articles for Cook’s Illustrated magazine. Prior to America’s Test Kitchen, Davison worked at several restaurants, catering companies, and wineries in Albany, N.Y.; The Berkshires, Mass.; San Francisco and Napa Valley, Calif. Julia met her husband, Ian, in the test kitchen 16 years ago when he was hired to help out with the filming of the second season.

Lancaster, the executive food editor for New Media, Television, and Radio at America’s Test Kitchen, has worked at the company since 1998. Like Davison, Lancaster started as a test cook for Cook’s Illustrated, developing recipes and writing articles. Lancaster is the lead instructor for the company’s successful online cooking school. Prior to America’s Test Kitchen, Lancaster worked in restaurants in the South and Northeast with a strong focus on pastry. In her spare time, Lancaster and her husband brew small-batch craft beers in the garage of their Boston-area home.

Fan favorites and test-kitchen experts Davison and Lancaster will bring new life to the cherished show while still keeping the esteemed format intact.

Chris Kimball will continue to appear as host of America’s Test Kitchen for the 2016 season that is currently airing on public television stations across the country.

JANE MAHER - WEST COAST AMBASSADOR, TULLAMORE DEW IRISH WHISKEY - IRISH CULTURE IN THE US & FUN ST. PATRICK’S DAY TIDBITS


September 2015 saw Jane Maher return to America to fulfill the role of Tullamore D.E.W Brand Ambassador in the western and southern US, where she represents Tullamore D.E.W. now with a home base of California.  Jane brings with her firsthand distillery experience, as she most recently served as the first ever Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery Ambassador, a position she started in July 2014. As the face of the new $50M Tullamore Distillery, Jane built a greater understanding of the techniques used in distilling as well as the methods that give each of Tullamore D.E.W.’s whiskeys their unique character and taste.  In her role at the distillery, Jane strove to evoke her infectious passion for whiskey in each visitor.

In 2012, Jane graduated from Trinity College, Dublin and is currently completing her MSc in International Business Development from the College of Business, Dublin. It was during her time studying at Trinity that she first got a taste for the drinks industry, while working as a Tour Guide at Diageo’s Smithwick’s Brewery. In 2013, Jane was introduced to the whiskey industry when she was successfully appointed as a Tullamore D.E.W. Brand Ambassador and set sail for San Francisco. For 18 months Jane used her blend of confidence, charisma and commercial focus to grow & promote Tullamore D.E.W. throughout California. Jane believes the future is bright for the Irish whiskey category, is a true whiskey enthusiast & is honored to be part of Tullamore DEW’s next chapter in the US.
