Technology expert and self-proclaimed “gadget geek,” Jamie Sorcher, is available on Friday, Dec. 12 to show, tell and demo top tech tips & trends for the season, as well as provide the all-important shopping advice.
Sorcher, a multimedia journalist with more than 15 years experience in broadcast, online, and print, is a word nerd, tech enthusiast, and gadget geek who answers to many handles including Gadget Girl, Gizmo Girl, GG, and Super G. In broadcast, Sorcher has earned recognition as a go-to techie during more than 1,500 TV and radio interviews. She has appeared on varied news programs and networks including WABC-TV, Ahead of the Curve on ABC News, The Early Show on CBS, NBC Nightly News, Good Day New York on Fox, Fox News, and Radio Disney.
Sorcher logged over 100 live segments as the Gizmo Girl, a role she originated, on ESPN’s morning show Cold Pizza. In print, Sorcher served as a senior editor at Hachette Filipacchi writing for Premiere, Home, Ty Pennington at Home, Sound & Vision, Stereo Review, and Car Stereo Review, and has been a regular contributor to ShopSmart, a sister publication of Consumer Reports, and to All You, as well as to leading technology industry publication, TWICE (This Week in Consumer Electronics).
A graduate of Lehigh University with a bachelor of arts in Journalism, Sorcher has studied at the London School of Economics and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Facial hair expert and pognologist (beard scholar), Allan Peterkin, is known for his three bestselling books on facial hair, One Thousand Beards: A Cultural History of Facial Hair, The Bearded Gentleman: The Style Guide To Shaving Face, and One Thousand Mustaches: A Cultural History of The Mo. Dr. Peterkin is an academic and cultural historian who has tracked the history of facial hair on men over time (from pre historic, to Victorian to modern times) and so his books have become the authoritative references for factual information on the history of men's grooming, shaving and facial hair styles and trends.
