Mandy Moore is “going to bat” for PSI's Five & Alive Organization which provides children and their families with the education, products, services and care needed to improve health and save lives in more than 30 countries. Moore will be available for interviews on July 11, 2011 to talk about getting involved, what your viewers can do, and what it’s like to be on the ground at the MLB Home Run Derby 2011.

Mandy Moore is an actress and recording artist. She gained fame as a teen with the release of her popular pop albums So Real, I Wanna Be with You, and Mandy Moore. Her most recent album, Amanda Leigh, was released on May 26, 2009. Recent film credits include "License to Wed" opposite Robin Williams and John Krasinski; Justin Theroux's "Dedication" opposite Billy Crudup and "Because I Said So" opposite Diane Keaton. Moore provided the voice of Rapunzel in Tangled. Her song, “I See the Light,” earned the writers an Oscar nomination for Music (Original Song) and a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Original Song (Motion Picture).

We're Talking With Tom Tiburzi, Winemaker at Chandon, About Sparkling Wine

Tom’s love affair with wine began long before coming to Chandon. The son of an Italian immigrant chef and retail wine-and-spirits merchant, food and wine are in his blood. Tom worked in the family stores since early childhood, and along with family and friends, made wine at home using a shared press in the garage.

After earning a degree in Environmental Studies and Biology from the University of California at Berkeley, and an early foray into microbiology, Tom reconnected with the family’s passion and parlayed his scientific training into a professional winemaking career.

He’s now spent the last 18 years mastering the art of sparkling winemaking at Chandon. His expertise in the science of sparkling winemaking along with his creative blending skills have played a key role in the creation of Chandon's diverse sparkling-wine cuvĂ©es. Currently, Tom continues to demonstrate his exceptional talents as he oversees Domaine Chandon's sparkling program, carrying on a tradition of crafting the finest and broadest range of sparkling-wine styles in America.
